The Three Activities

Many teachers, especially new teachers, struggle with classroom problems such as hard to take control of the classroom. Therefore, as a future teacher, we want to give a piece of our mind of the activities that might be useful to be used in classroom.

Skeleton Dance
This is an activity that will get the student to move before the lesson start. This activity also fun and interesting plus its also can refresh the student  mind and body since their brain are boring due to the continuing schedule.

Bombay  bomb
This game is a group activity played in a group basically.  It is fun since in order to win the game, players need to “kill” the other  team . The term “ kill” here is, when the team who start first, the first team will point out to the any team they want. If they  were appointed, they need to shout  the other team’s name . If they shouted late, they will automatically be terminated.  There is also a trick where they  can  win. How? The team who had been appointed, if they want to choose  the team they want, they shout their team that they want, they will shout but their  finger  to the wrong team just to confuse them.  If they get it wrongly, the team, who getting confuse will be automatically terminated. The shout will be like this;

THIS IS GROUP NO 1 ( 3 times)

THIS IS GROUP NO 1
CALLING GROUP NUMBER 2 ( THEY CAN CHOOSE ANY GROUP THEY WANT)

How to play :
1-      Students will be divided into 7 groups ( If the groups in a big number )
2-      The teacher will choose which group will start first
3-      The selected group will choose which group they want to “ kill”
4-      The appointed group needs to be on stand by mode and prepare to attack another group.
5-      The game will be continued with the other team until the game will remain one group only
6-      The last group will be the winner

Musical Box
This game is an individual game. The students make a big circle. And then the teacher will pass the box to the students and the students need to pass the box to the next person beside them while the teacher plays a music. If the music stops, the students also need to stop passing the box around. The person that's holding the box when the music stop will take a piece of paper inside the box and read aloud the instructions. For example the instructions are like “Jump with one leg”, “Sing a nursery rhyme entitled Itsy Bitsy spider with the actions” and so on. All the students need to follow the instructions. After that, the person that holding the box will start to pass again the box to the next person while the music is playing by the teacher. The same thing will happen when the music  stop.
How to play:
1.       Students stand in a big circle.
2.       The teachers will play the music and the students start to pass the box to the next person beside them.
3.       When the music stop, the student that is holding the box need to take a piece of paper inside it and read aloud the instructions clearly.
4.       All the students need to do the actions together.

5.       The game starts again when the students done with the actions.
